Why need dehumidification in lithium battery production workshops?

Lithium and other materials are highly reactive to moisture,so when they are used as the basis for battery production,controlling humidity in the production workshops to ensure?drying air?is essential in production operations.this will provide high quality products and output,and provide employees’s safe working space. Issued with humidity can cause respiratory diseases of the human body,reduce the uptime of production workshops,and lead to product losses,high costs,and negative effects for brand reputation.

The accepted dew point for?lithium battery production?is -40°C.but the dew point may decrease due to the chemical composition of the battery being more sensitive to moisture.So for high-volume production ,creating a dry room is the only alternative to ensure the quality of the product.

How it work?

The dew point of the?drying room?is -40°C.Equivalent to about 0.08g/kg(grams of moisture per kilogram of dry air),0.05gr/Ib or 79PPMw.


The way to achieve the best drying charmber is through the?desiccant rotor.our?dehumidification rotor?can absorb moisture from the outside humid air through the rotation of the?dehumidification wheel?and then process the air through the regeneration zone to further adsorb the moisture.while the regeneration temperature of the traditional dehumidification system is 120-140°C,the current regeneration temperature of our medium temperature regeneration?dehumidification system?only needs to be 80-90°C for desorption.
