1.According to the classification principle, the fresh air system can be divided into:

(1)According to the classification of air flow, the fresh air purification system is divided into a one-way flow fresh air purification system and a two-way flow fresh air purification system;

pressure fresh air purification system (wall-mounted, window, wall, floor, ceiling)

Two-way flow fresh air purification system (ceiling type, wall row type and thin floor type)

(2)According to indoor pressure classification, it is divided into positive pressure fresh air purification system, positive and negative pressure mixed fresh air purification system;

2.Pay attention to the air volume, filtering effect, noise and maintenance cost of the product,when choosing fresh air purification products for residential buildings:

(1)Air volume: Choose a suitable air volume according to the size of the residential building and the number of people. According to the national first-level air quality standard, there should be no less than 30 cubic meters of fresh air per person per hour in the room.

(2)Filter effect: The higher the filter level, the stronger the filter effect. It is recommended to choose a fresh air purification system with a multi-level combination of filters.

(3)Noise: Generally speaking, the noise of the fresh air purification system is proportional to the air volume. The larger the air volume, the greater the noise. Therefore, when purchasing fresh air, we need to find a balance between air volume and noise.

(4)Maintenance cost: After-sales and maintenance of fresh air products are also points of concern to everyone. The biggest maintenance cost of the fresh air purification system is the replacement of the filter, which involves replacement costs and after-sales maintenance.

Yang Yingxia, editor-in-chief of "Residential Fresh Air System Technical Standards" and associate researcher of China Academy of Building Research, interpreted the engineering construction industry standard JGJ/T440-2018 "Residential Fresh Air System Technical Standards". The standard was officially released on December 18, 2018, and will be implemented on May 1, 2019.

The standard points out that new residential buildings should reserve the installation location of the fresh air system; it puts forward the requirements and design methods for the purification efficiency of PM2.5.
